For this assignment, you must make an individual appointment with a writing consultant at the writing center during the week of September 25th - 30th to go over your final draft and give you feedback.
Your writing consultant will be sending me a copy of their thoughts about your session: what they believe you need improvement on, what you discussed, and how they believe the session went, so make sure that you go and fully engage in the session with your writing consultant. Thus, the actual assignment (#4) will be fulfilled once I receive a sheet from your writing center consultant confirming that you made the appointment and kept it.
After I have had a chance to review these reports, you will then receive your Weekly Response Assignment #4 grade, which will be based on evidence of your engagement with the writing center consultant (in other words -- that you made an effort to really engage in the process of reviewing your work and listening to the consultant's suggestions/feedback), which I will determine from the writing consultant's comments to me.
In addition to counting as a weekly response assignment grade,
your consultation will also count towards your final essay grade.
