Student Project Gallery:

Introduction to Literature / Fall 2006: to encourage connections between literature and students' individual work in the arts and/or media, students course were asked to produce one creative project in response to any work of literature on our syllabus and then present that project to the class. They were allowed to utilize any artistic medium of their choice, as long as it was connected to their major in some significant fashion (for example, a filmmaker could create a storyboard if he/she chose, rather than a short film). A brief essay that discussed the student's process accompanied each project. Below are some representative examples of students' creative interpretations of various pieces of literature. Most of the art work in this gallery are original creations and therefore may not be reproduced without written permission from the artist. If you have any questions, please
